What is Holistic Nutrition?

Based on the premise that natural, alive, good quality foods have an immense power to heal, Holistic Nutrition seeks to empower individuals to make healthy, life-affirming choices. A step-by-step approach is taken to explore the particular needs of each person and recommendations are made with an intention to honour the goals of the participant while taking into account what is possible within the unique context of his/her life at this point.  As a Holistic Nutritionist, I aim to get to know each person who seeks my guidance so that recommendations come from a grounded place where the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – is considered.

What can I expect during my first session?

Prior to meeting, you will be sent a questionnaire that will help focus the first session. You will be asked to email this form back at least three days prior to the consultation. When you arrive, I will ask questions to determine your nutritional goals and to learn more about your lifestyle and current nutritional habits. Initial recommendations will be made with an understanding that changing habits and patterns takes time and commitment. To fully engage in the process of healing, follow-up sessions are recommended. Healing and education are always the intended outcomes and so, all conversations are confidential and non-judgmental.

  • $120 + HST/initial consultation
  • $90 + HST/60 minute follow-up session
  • $260 + HST/initial consultation and two 60 minute sessions (to be used within three months)
  • $240 + HST/three 60 minute sessions (to be used within three months)
