What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, restorative, healing modality that accepts the idea of a universal energy, or life force, permeating everything. The practice of Reiki allows for a rebalancing of our energy body through gentle touch. When we feel balanced, we are more able to fully engage in our life and to recognize our connectedness to everything and everyone around us. Since we are energy bodies, taking the time to relax into a practice centered around rebalancing and rejuvenation allows us to better understand ourselves and to more effectively extend ourselves to others.
